Tea Festival
Dates: August 25th and 26th.
Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm each day.
Location: Hokkaido Jingu-Tongu Shrine, located in Sapporo.
Details: Each day during this delicious festival there will be tea tasting in which you can enjoy classic green tea from Japan, Chinese tea, black tea and herbal teas, at one of Sapporo’s main shrines!
There will also be tea ceremonies and workshops in which you can join and see how tea is prepared, as well as enjoy a traditional Japanese cultural activity in a beautiful setting.
Lastly, tea will be sold at a small market so you can even take some home to enjoy later and remember the experiences you’ve had while in Japan!
Tickets: The festival itself is a free event.
