Dates: August 2nd to the 4th, 2018
Location: Susukino District, in the city of Sapporo.
Details: During these events the district of Susukino shuts down the roads to vehicles and transforms itself into an area that holds live performances, parades and vendor stalls! The festival is three days filled with excitement and activities which begin in the evening time, making it an ideal way to finish off your night.
Schedule: August 2nd, 5:30pm-9:00pm: Opening ceremonies, drum performances, theatrical plays accompanied by dance and music, brass band show, and Oiran walk.
August 3rd, 5:30pm-9:00pm: Portable shrine parade, live music performances, YOSAKOI dance.
August 4th, 6:00pm-10:00pm: Ladder acrobatics performance, shrine transport, YOSAKOI dance, live disco music, and the closing ceremonies.
Tickets: The festival itself is a free event for visitors.
