Details: Grand Sumo Tournament is touring various prefectures of Japan and hosting one day Sumo demonstrations! The demonstrations are meant to give more insight to the public about what sumo involves and encompasses.

The tour will be in Sapporo on August 19th, and here you will be able to view both sumo bouts and matches, but also can see demonstrations and receive explanations about things related to Sumo, like techniques, hair dressing, drumming, significance, folk songs, and the history of Sumo!

Tickets: The event itself is free to the public.
